Ms. Quinn came of age at the end of the 1960s when the hippie movement was just taking off. Leaving her small town for college life, she discovered a new world, in the hippie subculture, where the young no longer had to put up with society's rules. A world where you could be who you wanted to be and rebel against social norms.
